New Battle Mode
I added a 4th mode (Rumble) where there are no resources for cards and you can only summon once per turn. Supersonic will always be the main mode but my goal is to make it easier for people to grasp all the concepts. I also tried to more features for that like extra tooltips and a quick rulebook UI in the menu.
I don't know if the battle modes will be fun but the goal is to make sure each person finds a way to enjoy Final Stardust. Power creep and broken cards will eventually come with the sequels (with new mechanics being introduced) so I think it's important to have different formats in advance. Maybe I am overthinking it.
Card Frames
Some people already got silver and gold frames so I added 2 extra card frames, one for 500 uses (Diamond) and one for 1000 uses (Emerald). Just a quick feature I will link to achievements later.
Gameplay Focus
Following on what I said about a story mode previously. I decided to focus a lot more on gameplay for now, for 2 reasons.
- I want to let the player play the game the way he wants and having a linear mode will play against that.
- The manga showed me that there isn't interest in story for now so I am betting everything on the gameplay. That's also one of the reasons I decided to add so many unique Dark effects + new battle modes.
Dark Effects
I added about 20 new Dark Plano effects and 2 of the strongest Celestials. If you have a cool idea for an effect, this is your moment to mention it on Discord.
Alright, if no major bug is mentioned I think it's time to add avatar creation. It was planned for this patch but I noticed some people were a bit lost with the gameplay so I decided to add more helpful features before moving on.
