This is likely to be the last patch before Arcane Chaos leaves early access sometime next week. Just finishing up adding a few more soul spells, doing final optimizations and balance adjustments and then it should be done.
Changes:
- Lots of general optimization has been done to try and improve performance.
- Bosses and Elites can no longer be pushed around by other mobs.
- Lightning Bubble will now explode into smaller projectiles when hitting an enemy.
- Base spawn rate increased slightly for "Courtyard" and "Treasure Island" levels
New Additions:
- New Passive "Mana Shield" has been added to the pool of abilities. Mana Shield will periodically recharge blocking one instance of damage, recharge time decreasing with each level.
- Purple XP gems will now condense into blue gems when there are enough of them in an area, this should help reduce clutter and improve performance later in levels when the amount of gems being dropped is extremely high.
- Added a few new optional bosses that can be found and triggered throughout levels 2,3 and 4
- Added a score screen after levels where stats from that run are displayed as well as a breakdown on how much damage each spell did. You will also gain bonus gold based on your performance.
- New Soul Spell "Cold Snap" added

PS: I know "Arcane Chaos" isn't the most polished of games nor the most unique but it's been a quite the learning experience as my first excursion into game development and I already can't wait to apply what I've learned to bigger and better things going forward. Thanks to all those who purchased the game and I hope to exceed any expectations with my future projects.
