Highlights
- Implemented Character Customization, so the players will be able to customize their character looks, heads, and skin.
- Implemented Different Weapons. In the past, there was only one type of firearm.
Now we added four (4) different weapons with different attacks and upgrades ( Pistol, Shotgun, Sniper, and Rocketlauncher ). - Implemented Upgrades; We added Body armor that provides extra health and the option to purchase weapons and upgrade them.
- Custom Dictionary (based on players' request); Implemented the option to load a custom dictionary with custom words for typing.
- Colour Blindness Mode (based on players request);
- Font size option (based on players request);
- Difficulty Levels are now available for all maps. Greater Difficulty comes with greater rewards.
- Maps; Added five (5) more new maps, making a total of ten (10) maps.
- Achievements; added more Achievements for all the new features we added. Weapons, Armors, Upgrades, etc.
- Changed the Bosses models to different ones with different gameplay boss mechanics from the previous ones.
Gameplay
- Changed Gameplay from Four Basic Characters to One Customizable and Upgradable Character.
- Changed instead of one selected word while typing, to have multiple selected words that start with the same letter, and do not need to have unique words for each letter. The words are getting filtered out, as more characters/letters you type.
- During the "Special" animation, the player now is invulnerable.
Combat
- New Weapons, four weapons have now been added instead of one. The characters start with a Pistol, and they can buy the rest three weapons with the points they gather during gameplay.
- All New weapons are upgradable from the Upgradable menu.
UI
- Removed bosses health life indicator ( Hearts ) and added a global health life indicator.
- Word Statistics; in the Main Menu, each player can find their Word Statistics under the "Statistics" page.
- During gameplay, in the in-game menu, added options for volume, music, sound and also Hand Placement
- Hand Placement (based on players request);
- Character Customization Screen, under Customize.
- Added Difficulty levels options to choose while selecting the map to play.
- Added Upgrades in both main-menu and in-game menu.
- Changed How-To-Section, to include Upgrades, New Gameplay, and Custom Dictionary.
- Colour Blindness Mode (based on players request);
- Font size option (based on players request);
Sounds
- Added new Sound effects for all the weapons. Each weapon now has sound effects with variations.
Voices
- Added Voices for the main character for different actions and occasions
Music
- Added Music for every map.
Bugs Fixes and Optimization
- Maps Optimization, reduced loading in all of the maps.
- Upgraded the game's project to the Unity 2022.3 LTS version.
- Switched the game's pipeline from the build-in to the URP (Universal Render Pipeline).
- The previous setup had one (1) officer and four (4) squad members, because of that, it it was impossible to add Character Customization and Skills and Upgrades. It has changed to be changed to One (1) Playable Character Only.
- During the "Special" animation, the player now is invulnerable.
