Created a new laser sight targeting feature. At any point the player can, when not moving, press down the right stick to enter Aim Mode. This will activate a laser site and slow down player rotation and movement, allowing for more accurate targeting of opponents (while also putting themselves at risk due to moving less freely - so use this feature wisely). When in Aim mode the right stick can be used to rotate and aim without the player moving at all or the left stick can be used for the player to move with the laser sight on, but very slowly. Previously aiming at a distance was very difficult as both sticks moved the player in combination at all times. To exit aim mode either press the right thumb stick again or simply dash or jump (dashing has now been assigned to pressing down the left control stick). The updated controls can be viewed in the main menu and pause menu.
Yesterdays update of player controls had also introduced a small bug in which the player would move slightly slower left and down screen than to the right or up. This has been fixed.
Player movement speed, when not in Aim Mode, has been increased by around 25% to compensate for the increase in game difficulty resulting from yesterday's update. So the game is faster and more frenetic.
Turret Bots and Cannon Bots were having some physics engine difficulty. This has been smoothed out quite a bit and their rotation speed has been increased (making their attacks more frequent).
Wall penetrator weapon has received an update. It now shoots about 25% further. It has an improved particle effect along its trajectory. And crucially, player shields and shield walls now block and absorb wall penetrator bullets. If you're fighting an opponent using it, grab a shield pick up!
Laser sword damage has been increased for players and robots. It was too weak before, but is now worth grabbing in the thick of a fight.
Yesterday's update to the bot spawning system was generating too many hovering drone bots. This has been fixed.
