Hey folks!

This patch fixes various issues, improves certain gameplay features, and further improves LBAO.

Visuals & optimizations

  • lightmap-based ambient occlusion improvements
  • static light compute now simulates light bouncing off ceilings in building interiors
  • added new graphical option "smooth lighting" - enables linear filtering for the lighting, may reduce performance on low-end machines

Gameplay

  • turning in place while prone now plays the crawl animation (visual only, no noise is made)
  • improved sprint auto-climb to prevent climbing over walls/obstacles when the player shouldn't
  • can now grab trash from any open dumpster object in the level
  • reduction in player visiblity from going prone now depends on how well-lit the player is - the less light there is, the less is the reduction in going prone
  • changes to "tension" music playback when no one is alert
  • aim line no longer disappears when sprinting

Fixes

  • fixed objectives not loading properly when loading a savefile
  • fixed a crash that could be caused when entering the savefile name with numbers only
  • fixed a crash related to picking up tazer mines
  • bullets no longer impact with falling mags and dropped weapons
  • minor UI fixes
  • improved tile randomization on various tiles
  • (CONTROLLERS) fixed a crash that occured when exiting viewing cameras
  • (CONTROLLERS) fixed a crash that occured when exiting the skill menu, as well as missing skill menu controller support
