SteamDB has updated the BBCode parser, report issues in Discord if some notes look very wrong compared to Steam community.

Prior to this update, no matter what difficulty you chose, it would put you on normal. Now it will actually put you on the other difficulties. Live for Windows, will be live for MacOS in a few hours.
