We have been overwhelmed by the feedback we have received on launch week and the positivity of the community. Thank you!

Patch Notes:
  • Added fishing into the game! Let us know what you think!
  • Fixed a bug where you could use items to fly around the map (sorry)
  • Made smooth turning faster
  • Added a button to toggle crouch (A - lower button on right controller)
  • Fixed a bug where pistol lock would become unusable
  • Less chance to find same chest contents multiple time in a row
  • Fixed a bug where hands would get stuck with low fps
  • Fixed torch burning from two sides at once
  • Improved animal pathfinding in certain places
  • Fixed cliffs which didn't act as rock surface
  • Added more audio to environments
  • Improved lizard animations slightly
  • Fixed some broken landscape in canyon
  • Fixed some broken landscape and collision in shipwreck
  • Fixed unlocks sometimes disappearing
  • Fixed unlocked things sometimes not appearing on Death Screen
  • Fixed grabbing a gun through a closed chest
  • Fixed eating while walking
  • Fixed starting to eat sound playing continuously
  • More coconuts appear in the jungle near beach
  • Gunpowder now does not get wet so easily
  • Gunpowder does not flow out of gunpowder horn by itself anymore
  • Replaced loading screen graphics on spectator screen
  • Removed spectator FOV option from menu (apparently it wasn't working anymore, we hope to put it back)
  • Temporarily removed "Days Survived" column from Leaderboard (we are fixing it)
  • Fixed some performance related bugs
Future plans

We have collected a lot of player feedback from forums, Discord, Youtube and other channels. Some things we have known before, some caught us by surprise. It's time for us to take a deep breath and start working on figure out some things we need to change in the future.

Until then, here are a few of the things that we are already working on:

  • Reworking the way that nights play out, to give nights more variety and keep them more manageable in the early stages of the game
  • Further tweaking of day and night length
  • Some more polish to fishing
  • Further performance improvements and bugfixes
  • Improvements to the Bottle
  • Next unlockable item
