As we approach 25,000 wishlists, we reworked spaceship-building gameplay last week for the popular demand, now we have more rules and spaceship part placement is grid-based similar to the game's pod placements.
Patch Notes:
- Added successful liftoff experience points.
- Implemented auto-save every 5 minutes.
- Added a success screen and success panel for missions.
- Introduced a spaceship handbook page with texts.
- Implemented multipage structure for the spaceship info panel.
- Added new structures, research scriptable objects, pod scriptable objects, and corresponding sprites.
- Added Builder Station and modified Pods.
Gameplay:
- Implemented force multiplier x2 for thrusters.
- Required fuel tank amount set to 4.
- Implemented gravity multiplier for more realistic physics.
- Added settler missions and tutorials for resource assignment and firefighting units.
- Improved spaceship parts connection and handling.
- Implemented reset save on successful launch and return to main menu.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed various issues with ghost colliders for structures and tunnels.
- Addressed the issue with thrusters not working if the amount is more than the fuel tank capacity.
- Fixed the launch button and short tunnel connection issues.
- Resolved issues with settler descriptions and mission listings.
- Fixed various UI and layout update issues.
Other:
- Synced translations and cleaned up code.
- Improved handling of event and mission empty states.
- Enhanced settlement stats and production bonus UI.
- Updated various tutorials and indicators for better player guidance.
