Long time no see, time travellers!

We want to give a huge Thanks to all of you for patiently waiting these months for a new update. And here we are once more. For this update, we have focused on fixing bugs that have been spotted during the last three months, and some small features you guys asked us to implement as a bonus.

So, let's see what's coming new.

1.- New Features

1.1 Maps dates and sorting filters

We have included creation and last update info to your maps data. This way, you can follow the longevity of each maps. Additionaly, new filters have been added to the Load Menu, giving the option of sorting your maps by recent updates, date of creation and name.

1.2 Only grid image export

Even though table-top view adapts the camera to focus on the grid, sometimes (mostly while working in big grids) there could be a lot of empty space around you wouldn't want on your images. So, now you can trim automatically your exports and only include the grid relative space.

1.3 Key binding menu

We continue to bring more accessibility options for Chronos Builder, this time being the possibility of rebinding all key shortcuts and commands. This way you can change the camera movement keys, menu shortcuts and even how to copy and paste.

2.- Bug Fixing

Lots of bugs and unintended behaviour have been noticed since our last update. With this patch we wanted to take down the great majority of them, making Chronos Builder a more reliable tool for all map making lovers. The most important ones being:

  • Fixed the UI for Load and Community menus, so they can fit in lower and greater resolutions than 16:9. This was a huge issue for those using 4:3 monitors, who couldn't even load their maps. Now, all menus will fit into your monitors (and for ultra-wide users, they will be better-looking).

  • Fixed Non-Editable maps in workshop not loading. Despite that most of the workshop content is open to modification, those map marked as no editable didn't load after being downloaded. We apologize to those afected by this issue.

  • Chronos Button not working. Previously, this feature only cleared the map without substituting any asset. Now it should work properly, allowing you to change the environment of your maps into new time eras.

  • Wishing Well incompatibilty issues with Mac. We got in depths with this problem, so every mac user who has purchased the DLC could enjoy its content.

A more extensive list of bugs will be added at the end of this update.

3.- Looking at the future

There is still a lot of work to do in our road map. Our next step to achieve it's the awaited Western setting, which comes with next assets, nature and Biomes.

However, we have some new surprises for you. With the introduction of Italian as a new language options for the UI.

More will soon pop up in Chronos Builder, see you next time!
