Gone through the game with a fine tooth comb squashed all manner of bugs and made a few minor changes too. This one is quite a big one!
Changes
- Even more containers now are animated when used.
- "Thinking cap" is now usable by anyone.
- Captain Josh's face now reflects Annetta's "modifications".
- The "Relationship" state, now details the attributes affected.
- Minor quality of life changes, such as exiting some context menus by right-clicking.
- Reduced the TP cost of some of Solider's grenade abilities.
- Reduced the TP cost of the Fearless fighters's critical strike ability.
- Dog can now use crafted armour designed for fearless fighters and Solider can now use crafted armour for warriors.
- Made the secret chapter 3 optional boss fight more challenging.
- Improved the effectiveness of paralysing ray, this affects enemies too.
Bug fixes
- Starting on hard mode then later switching to normal mode no longer fails to give the normal mode achievement once the game is completed.
- Fearless armour recipe incorrectly said it required one resist dark ball, when in reality it needed two. This has been changed so that it only needs one in-line with the description.
- Loosing random "ball" fights no longer leads to a black screen soft-lock, though it was still possible to re-load via the menu.
- At the end of the hunt, Hunter would stand in the way, preventing players from further exploration before leaving, she is now more courteous and will move out of the way.
- You no longer have 10ft long arms and are able to reach the chest on the lower area from the upper gantry in the "S.S. Josh".
- Light flickering when loading into the dark forest has been fixed.
- Some item descriptions had words that ran together, these have now been fixed.
- Fixed an exploit near the end of chapter 2 where it was possible to use a teleporter to be repeatably rewarded 500xp.
- Fixed a potential soft lock that can happen, if you do not have enough money to rest just before the start of chapter 3. Resting at this point is now free.
- Minor spelling and grammar fixes throughout.
- It's no longer possible to partially walk through the wall in the Hospital area in chapter 3.
- Fixed the wrong music playing after returning from the afterlife .
- Fixed a graphical bug of lava appearing to block your way when riding the elevator to the top, that was a weird one!
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to walk through a fence onto the upper level in the "Blackrose Shipping" area.
- We finally managed to stop it raining inside, in the new area added in v1.2.5 update.
- Fixed an issue where it might never be possible able to sort out your life support, if you fail to get the captain to stay with you. (Shezzi will now only have her Eureka moment
after this has been resolved). - Fixed a few enemies that don't start at full health on hard mode.
- Annetta will no longer have a chance comment on a bridge in chapter 4 not being extended, when it
has been extended. Well she does only have one eye, so we can't blame her. - Brad now uses the correct "Bottom's up" skill and not the enemy skill version.
