Woke up to a few issues that some of you have encountered in the Multiplayer Test this weekend, so we've cooked up a hotfix today to address as many as we can.

In this hotfix...
  • We've implemented a few fixes to increase the stability and success rate of turn submission: including resolving exceptions where the AI were stalling games, and an issue that was causing turn submission to fail server side.
  • Sessional games now will correctly transition into the end game phase (Assembly of the Conclave) at Turn 25. The Trial of the Throne takes 5-13 turns to resolve, at which point the winner will be declared.
  • All 'Amulets of [Power]' that set an Archfiend's starting Power level at 2 and prevent it from being lowered (i.e., Amulet of Prophecy), were not working. A fix is too large/risky to deploy this weekend, and so we have implemented a temporary interim solution where these Amulets now provide +1 to the relevant Power, but do not prevent you going below 2 of that Power. This will be properly resolved for the full game!


For those of you who have experienced turns not being able to be submitted or games stalling; we feel that the above fixes will address the majority of those issues, but we can't guarantee it'll solve them all. If you do run into a situation where your game has stalled, you can try resubmitting your turn, or pressing End Turn via the hotkey (Enter). Relaunching the app does seem to clear out some of these issues too. So that's another great workaround.

We have some reports of completed games not correctly transitioning to the post-game Victory Screen. If your game has finished, but the Victory Screen is not presented to you or your opponents, please submit a bug report via the in-game feedback form.

Please also note that (in most cases) a game of Solium Infernum does not end when the turn limit is reached, but once the Assembly of the Conclave has concluded (usually 5-13 turns after the turn limit). Keep an eye out for the turn log messages pointing out that this phase has started!

Also, a reminder that while GPU related performance issues are to be expected (our GPU optimisation pass is yet to come), please do report any performance issues you're encountering via the in-game feedback form with as much info as you can muster. This will help us ensure the game is running buttery smooth for launch.
