Gameplay Changes

  • Helveti won't lose breath while rolling over water anymore.
  • Net Rafts regenerate breath faster for Helveti and Roboto.
  • Powder Keg Raft will now become an empty raft that can be upgraded after the keg explodes.
  • Metal Rafts are no longer destroyed instantly by God Onion's nuclear balls and soda bottle explosions.
  • Before if the raft broke under you while in a chest, you'd be kicked out of the chest and given a random trinket. Now the chest will stay suspended in air until you pick.
  • Rafts will not be destroyed by enemies during cutscenes.
  • Hazards no longer need to be destroyed for a wave to continue.
  • Shooting the Pirate Matey illusion now makes it vanish.
  • Bone sharks will now swim in a random direction if there are no rafts left, and come back once there are rafts (same as crabs).


UI Changes

  • "Contact the developers!" button added on the newsboard.
  • A yellow exclamation point shows up above hub shop keeps when they have something you can afford and don't own.
  • Buy button in hub shops will be greyed out if you don't have enough to buy the item.
  • Price is now visible of hub shop items on the buy screen, instead of just in the main shop screen.
  • FPS and Ping Text moved to top right in gameplay, and below wind arrow in local multiplayer gameplay.
  • Breath icon and sailor/barrel reminders will not display if UI Display is off.


Fixes

  • Fixed softlock if a player joins your group while using a locker.
  • Fixed pause screen not showing up the first time you pause after leaving a group.
  • Fixed rescue missions not showing as completed when you first do them.
  • Fixed weapon equip sound playing when it shouldn't.
  • Fixed modifier screen displaying the offline message before selecting a modifier.
  • Fixed weekly screen message "only host can toggle" showing up when you've already done the weekly.
  • Fixed Dolphin squads of 4 spawning too close too each other.
  • Fixed Pirate Matey's illusions not reflecting the matey's position properly.
  • Fixed menus re-opening when exiting by pressing the back button.
  • Fixed local multiplayer controllers sharing emote wheel logic.
  • Camera movement is now less sensitive on controller.
  • Other small improvements/fixes.


Balance

  • Enemy Loop Health Multiplier Increased (25% -> 33%).
  • Plastic Straw slow effect lasts longer at base and per stack.
  • Ship of Dreams now has a chance to not appear after Super Kraken, except for the first loop where it always appears.
  • During weeklies, Ship of Deals will have a lower chance to have Raft and Weapon swappers.
  • During weeklies, Ship of Gear will have a lower chance to appear.
  • Fishing Rafts drop rates have been altered to have rarer drops be rarer.
  • Fishing Rafts can only spawn 1 egg, chest, and bottle per wave, and only 3 hearts per wave.
  • Fishing Rafts will stop spawning drops once there are few enough enemies remaining and enough time has passed.
  • Left and right side spawning enemies (Pirate Matey and Snail) have more varied spawning positions.
  • Slowed down snails speed range, and snails are slower moving vertically towards the player while in water.
  • Jellyfish are slightly faster.
  • Soda fish movement and double jump logic changed.
