"Ghost Road: Underworld Awakening", developed and produced by Ghost Road Game Studio and published by Luna Infinity Games, will be officially released on Steam on January 1, 2024. This version supports both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese Chinese.

This is a visual novel game about ancient Chinese myths and legends. It uses the ghost stories of the underworld as the background theme and combines a large number of allusions from "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" and folklore. On this basis, it is presented to players in the form of fictional creations.



The player will take on the role of a soul-gatherer from the underworld. Just after returning to the underworld from traveling in the human world, Luo Xiaoyan (Little King of Hell) arranges a difficult task to investigate the rampage of the grudge cage on the Wangchuan River. From this moment on, you will experience the completely different pasts of the three heroines. You will learn about the stories that happened to the heroines by possessing others, traveling through past lives, and recalling them. You will also reveal your true identity.



Gameplay

This game adopts a multi-line and multi-ending approach. There are a large number of options in the game for players to make interactive choices. The options are mainly divided into three types: "main line", "plot" and "ending".

Main line options: For example, Su Mei’s three main lines, Lu Xiaojia, Jin Dashuai, and Ahua, respectively tell different stories about these three people and Su Mei. Players can have a more complete understanding of the character of Su Mei after completing these three lines. and all that happened to her;

Plot options: This type of options will not affect the occurrence of the plot, but are just choices of different mood options;

Ending options: will directly affect the occurrence of different endings. If you choose the wrong one, you may not see the perfect ending of complete awakening.
