Happy holidays everyone!

Here are the patch notes for the first update of The Trials, our game's playtest. This patch focuses on gamepad support and the addition of a new base enemy variant.

We are currently working on a bunch of new features and improvements that will see the light during the early months of the next year. We will go into further detail in the first issue of our devlog, set to come out on January 15th.

Updates and upgrades

- The playtest now fully supports the use of a gamepad.
- Added a new variant of the base enemy.
- When casting a spell, the character will rotate towards the casting direction.
- The difficulties of the arena fights have been rebalanced.

Bug fixes


- Fixed a bug which caused the player to remain locked onto nothing
after finishing the fight with an enemy targeted.
- Fixed a bug which caused certain sounds from one of the fighting settings
to be present also in the other ones.
- Removed the possibility for the player to spam-open the inventory,
possibly leading to input related issues.
- The "bulletin board" layout has been modified to fit every screen type.
