We are very happy to announce the Update-Notes of MASTER FORGE and therefore everything what has been changed with version 1.0 which is truly our biggest update.

Of course we know that we are far too late with this update.
Unfortunately, our plans were thwarted by exams during our studies.
Because yes: we are still computer science students and do this as our hobby.
Nevertheless, we are proud to finally bring our passion project to an end.

In fact, we have implemented everything we promised with the roadmap.
Unfortunately, a little later than expected. In addition, with the new customer "Herald", we have brought a feature into the game that was never planned.
Master Forge is being supplemented with a lot of content with the new herald, which finally gives the upgrade table and the gold mine a purpose.
Master Forge should offer about 3 to 8 hours of playtime now. I hope you like it.

Everything what Update 1.0 includes:
New Special Customer: The royal herald appears in the game shortly after the gold mine has been unlocked. This new main customer will bring Master Forge to a well-deserved end.
New Book: A monster encyclopedia tells the blacksmith which weapons will help the herald
New Product: A new wooden hammer called "Mallet" is now in the game
New End-Level: A new area has been added to bring the game to an end.
New Reward: There is a new special reward at the end of the game which reflects your performance.
New Storage: Arrow storage
New Quests: The Carpenter now has a unique story
New Side-Quest: The knight now has 3 different side quests.

Improvement: Overall balancing of the unlock item costs.
Improvement: User Experience of all menus improved
Improvement: Complete rework of the random customers. They now always have two desired products. If these are not in stock, they will buy nails or mallets.
Improvement: Better introduction scroll in the bedroom
Improvement: Overall lighting and shadows
Improvement: New day-night skybox transition
Improvement: Different types of birds make the world more alive
Improvement: Rework of the shop door with a new animation
Improvement: The trader now has two gem chests
Improvement: New wood item
Improvement: New background mountains
Improvement: The regular walking of the player is now a bit slower and therefore we have added a new sprinting mode (shift).
Improvement: Complete rework of the background villager movement.
Improvement: New icon and wallpaper added to the introduction
Improvement: 3D Soundeffects


Bugfix: Time of quest customers fixed. Sometimes they returned immediately.
Bugfix: Sleeping time was sometimes not correct.
Bugfix: Illegal interaction through walls disabled.
Bugfix: Upgrade bench thoughts not working
Bugfix: Longsword position on the upgrade bench
Bugfix: Mallets and nails could be upgraded on the upgrade bench
Bugfix: Looking through walls
Bugfix: Random Customer counter particles of the tutorial never disappear
Bugfix: Translation of some products not working
Bugfix: Fame icon never becomes green
Bugfix: German "Umlaute" of the displayed text has been fixed
Bugfix: The shop door now stays open until all customers are gone
Bugfix: Black panel randomly appearing during UI Overlays
Bugfix: The quest and random customer leaving animation will be skipped during time skips. Therefore ways more customer are able to visit the shop.
Bugfix: Quest customer now react always, even when the player gave them the wrong product.
Bugfix: Quest customer the player has ignored will not return on the next day to get their products.

For all existing players, we recomand to start a new savegame to get the best master forge experience.
