Howdy. As usual, I have been messing around with some other game prototypes. Regardless, i am back with another little update full of shit i felt like adding. This update is less content heavy than normal, but has some really nice QOL / performance optimizations that made a huge difference for me. On my PC I am able to stay above 60fps with all 4 mercs hired and 16 enemies in combat. Before these changes, the game would drop below 40 and stutter pretty often at that intensity of combat. Let me know if the update breaks anything.

New Additions
Added wiggly ammo belt simulation to some heavy machineguns
Added the riveter. Can be purchased in the shop for 40k credits. Fires heavy exploding slugs with a slow automatic fire mode
Added the toz. Can be purchased in the shop for 2500 credits. A bolt action shotgun. unremarkable, but a shotgun nonetheless
Added the railgun. Can be purchased from the shop for 100k credits. A break action rifle. Fires a lightspeed discarding sabot that penetrates through robots and can damage each limb they pass through
Added the roach. Can be purchased from the shop for 10k credits. An early game explosive weapon. Can be found in a secret crate as well
Added the pig. Can be purchased from the shop for 50k credits. A belt fed MG. Controllable spray and fast fire rate
Added the zipper. Can obtained from the paid random weapon supply airdrop. A belt fed MG. Extremely fast fire rate and greatly improved recoil control
Added the Hybrid Grip. This grip offers balanced improvements of both recoil control and ADS speed
Added the HARVESTER attack drone. This lightly armored drone will attempt to rush down the player with its dual submachine guns
Added FOCUS upgrade. Boosts reload speed for a short duration after a kill
Added a performance scopes toggle. Previously, using the magnified scopes would render the whole game twice. Once for the scopes zoomed in view, and then once for the players POV. This effect looks cool, however it comes at a heavy FPS cost. Now, you can toggle a simplified scope setting that allows you to only render the sniper scope view. Now sniping at large groups of enemies can be done above 50 FPS! This is the best change imo

Fixes / Changes / Balance
Made great improvements to the navigation path handling. Was previously recalculating paths every frame, but now only paths that need to me modified will be calculated. This made a noticeable fps difference for me
Increased player stash capacity to 200 and added scrollbar functionality.

this allows you to hoard every item in the game if you want. also helps with trying to collect all airdrop weapons, since the ones in your inventory and stash are blacklisted from spawning in new weapon airdrops you purchase!
Fixed nasty FPS drops/stuttering when going to town on a robot, hitting all 8 pellets with an automatic shotgun at point blank
Quick switch grenade key now displays grenade sprite next to message for easier identification of grenades
Optimized most bot guns to have less complex meshes
Cached interaction menu UI elements so you no longer lose 30 frames just from looking at a damn loot crate
Clamped maximum credits lost on death to 25k.
Stock investments are no longer all lost on death. Instead, a random amount of each owned stock will be lost. This further incentivizes the high-risk high-reward functionality
A random amount of each owned stock is lost upon death (previously, you lost everything in the market)
Modified most bolt action weapon visuals with regards to ammo visuals, reloading, casing ejection, muzzle flashes etc
Modified the PKP pecheneg to use the new wiggly ammo belt system instead of the box magazine
Dragging physics objects disables their velocity collision damage until they are dropped (this was an op strat)
Various little bug fixes I cannot remember
Upgraded the mesh for compensator attachments
Clamped ammo indicator in bottom right so it doesn't stretch off the left side of the screen when you have 200 mag cap
Changed color of patch kit and renamed it to repair kit
Fixed a spot on the map near the upper plateau that was tricky for the bot AI to navigate without getting stuck
Added toggle to remove control hint menu in bottom left
Fixed boombox, should now load all StreamingAssets files with .mp3 in the name instead of only loading ones that have “song” somewhere in the name
Removed PIP scope from stynger AA launcher, as it was unnecessary
[*] Radar guided weaponry now requires LOS to lock onto a target
