Summary
Long time no see, this update introduces bug fixes, balancing changes, quality of life improvements and exiciting new features like elite units and AI revamps.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue with grunt spawning sounds being too loud in the level.
  • Addressed the problem of step sounds being audible from larger distances than intended.
  • Fixed the bug where the acid bucket sprite could still be seen even when out of sight.
  • Rectified an issue causing arrows to spawn broken arrows


Balancing Changes:
  • Overall AI changes making them more aggressive towards the player.
  • Nerfed piercing arrow ability: 100% extra damage to 25% extra damage to grunts, limited its ability to pierce through only 3 targets, increased the ability cost from 5 to 8.
  • Heavy armor cost has been increased from 4 to 5, [New] Heavy Armor now negates all slowing effects.


Quality of Life:
  • Added an exit level indicator to enhance clarity when searching for a level exit.


New Features:
  • Added a crowd control system with diminishing return system.
  • Lord character and its derivatives are now equipped with a magic shield that destroys incomming arrows and fireballs upon impact.
  • Priests now posses a special attack that stuns the player for 2 seconds upon impact. They can also randomly bestow weaker versions of the lord's shield onto other units.
  • Swordsmen now have a 30% chance to deflect arrows.
  • Shieldbearers units can now perform a shield throw ability that stuns the player for 1 second upon impact when their shield is broken.


Elite Units
Elite units have been introduced, boasting increased HP, damage and speed and some special abilities of their own.

  • Lord [Divine Blessing] : the lord gains a thorns effect buff that reflects damage back to the player when attacked.
  • Assassin [Teleportation] : the assassin gains the ability to teleport around the mao, adding a strategic element to their gameplay.
  • Bowman [Shadowclones and Blink] : the bowman gains the ability to create shadowclones of iteself and the ability to blink behind the player, providing a surprise attack advantage.
