REMINDER: This game is still very unfinished and nowhere near its final state! I am very much still in the very early stages of developing this game. (This game is a one-person part-time project, as you could probably tell)

Update v0.1.8 is finally here!
You now get to wade into the bug-filled city (which is a destructible environment) armed with flamethrowers and companions of...questionable intelligence. If you are careful (but trigger-happy) enough with your flames, you just might retake the capitol from the bugs! Just remember, this is going to be HARD! There are a LOT of bugs, and there are far fewer of you.

If your companions die, it might be better to just hit ESC and use the new Level Select feature to return to the beginning of the level. Your firepower is dramatically reduced without them.

Also, bugs are aggroed from very far away in the last levels of this update, and they are fast in the last level. Sometimes you may have to react extremely quickly (or just keep your flames up) in order to not get overwhelmed.

The next update (v0.2.0) will not include any additional story but will be a major overhaul of the characters, animations, and dialogue in order to increase the polish of the game. Once v0.2.0 comes out, players will no longer have to wade through walls-of-text in order to get back into the action! If time permits, this next update will even have voice acting! The update after that will move on to the next phase of the story: psionics training and motorcycles!
