This update was produced mostly from personal excitement after the previous update. Includes an extensive Maqbara rework with a new "endless" mode attached to it, some new starting options (including a new god), reworks of things and the option to have damage text pop up all over the screen, a feature that has been present for over a year but never turned on, something I added initially out of nostalgia for wc3 maps

General


  • starting class name now remains next to your prestige class name -- "Warlock Destroyer" "Warrior Flame Knight" etc
  • reorganized the start menu so there's more room
  • increased the Maqbara slots to 100
  • you can now manually "forget" character from the Maqbara
  • you can click "start" in the Maqbara to walk the "Path of Dust," an endless scaling mode with some chaotic possibilities -- this is NOT possible with your current Maqbara characters as I had to change how they were saved -- it will work with new ones
  • the path of dust is an extremely fast way to gain glory. At the moment the only real goal of it is to see how high of a floor you can get to
  • Added a "divine intervention" mechanic -- if you have at least 1 fully-charged prayer and you would die, your god instead sets you to 25% life and consumes all the charges of the prayer. This mechanic is intended to create a tactical way of dealing with possible one-shots. More variety will be added to it on a god-basis in the future
  • added some symbols in the lifebar to indicate how many fully charged prayers you have
  • you can now enable "floating text" in options, which causes text to pop up when damage is dealt, when units are healed, and when effects are applied. This can fill the screen in a very messy way but even so...some might like it




Cultures


  • Ihra reworked again, now limits ALL damage instances to 75% of max life
  • Added the Brud culture, filth-dwellers, who heal when attacking enemies afflicted with Bleed / Sickness / Doom and apply Doom in a 5 tile range when they are dealt damage


Classes


  • Warrior now gains 10 Poise on game turn, does not need to be adjacent to an enemy
  • Abdi now also is restored to 100% max life upon divine intervention
  • Added Reaver class, starts with an Inflame-applying crown and a large axe, high strength, Hit is increased by % of missing life, attacks per empty armor slot on shrug off
  • Added Assassin class, increases dealt damage to adjacent units by 20 * DEX, starts with a dagger that deals DEX*10 pierce damage on attack
  • Added Apostle class, deals Astral damage to self on attack / stand still, on divine intervention deals 1000 Astral damage to all units in a 5 tile range and permanently gains 1 Strength (this one is perhaps begging a bit too much to be broken)


Religion


  • Dorok's 2nd prayer now gains charges upon being dealt any amount of damage by an enemy
  • Ninhurs' 1st prayer set to 2 max charge
  • Hada'ds 2nd prayer set to 1 max charge
  • Added Tengri, the god of the cutting wind; penalizes your Armor and Block for each point of speed, deals slash damage to enemies in multiple paths when you step, prayers are charged by taking steps and dodging, and lose charges when you get hit


Powers


  • Agility now grants bonus Hit per level if your weapon size is less than 5
  • Technique no longer requires 2-handing, speed bonus reduced to 3


Items


  • Emerald Helm reworked, now heals you for 25% of your max life on game turn
  • Ruby Straightsword Fire and Pierce damage now scale on STR and DEX respectively
  • Aura Manica reworked, now grants Inflame on hit
  • Golden Chestplate reworked, now prevents the loss of Inflame on being hit
  • Added Golden Greaves, applies Inflame on step
