Almost a year has passed since the last update and it was time to bring a few improvements to the game. These are suggestions from players, but also our own ideas that could be implemented.
Originally, the update was supposed to be released in spring, but a tricky new fishing method took a little more time than planned:

Fly-Fishing

In addition to float and bottom lead fishing, spinning, spoon fishing and pilk fishing, fly fishing has been completely absent up to now. Not without reason, because this fishing method is difficult to implement in games.
Now, however, it is possible to fish with a fly in (almost) all waters.
The choice is made at the start of each map - you can choose between 'normal' fishing or fly fishing.

This fishing method is still in its early stages and is therefore not yet available in competitions.

Bait retrieval

You can now speed up the retrieval of the bait considerably by pressing the Shift key in addition to the left mouse button!

Saving the rod setup

The setting of each individual fishing rod can be saved from this version onwards.
The colour of the rod, the colour of the line, the choice of float, which lure etc. is saved by pressing 'G' and automatically set to this setting when you start the game the next day.
With 'Shift+G' the setting for the rod is reset to default.
This way you can permanently change any fishing rod with your favourite colours, pose and lure etc.!

New fish species

- Deuterodon
- Twospot Astyanax
- Piapara
- Tararira (Wolf Fish)
- Flatwhiskered Catfish
