Difficulty Selection
This Difficulty system paves the way for our upcoming Ascension system which holds longer term global progression in focusDifficulty can now be increased which offers bigger rewards and more challenging gameplay
Base Boss Soul rewards increase by difficulty level
Normal = 1x (nothing additional from the original base)
Apprentice = 2x
Adept = 3x
Hard = 4x
Expert = 5x
Extreme = 6x
Insane = 7x
Impossible = 8x
Nerfs
Equipment
Bracer of Haste cooldown reduction reduced from 20% → 10%Caster’s Pendant cooldown reduction reduced from 20% → 10%
Magister’s Loop duration multiplier reduced from 25% → 15%
Galestone of Aeron cooldown reduction reduced from 10% → 5%
Galestone of Aeron now delivers cooldown and magic damage one after the other, rather than all cooldown upgrades before any magic damage is granted
Abilities
Ice Field duration increase reduced from 1.25s → 0.5s at max upgradesIce Field tick rate increased from 0.5s → 1s
Unholy Water Duration increase reduced from 4s → 2s
Unholy Water Cooldown Reduction upgrades reduced from 1.5s → 1s
Unholy Water base Duration reduced from 6s → 5s
Tornado Cooldown Reduction upgrade reduced from 0.5s → 0.25s
Tornado base Duration reduced from 4s → 3s
Sparks movemenet speed reduced from 5m/s -> 2m/s

- This is to avoid difficulty exploits with instakilling
