Hey everyone! Wanted to get into good habits of sharing patch notes here as well and not just in the Discord. The below summarises the patches since the launch of the prologue up to now:

Bugs

  • Fixed crash caused by villager manager object trying to run to a house that had been destroyed (rare)
  • Fixed crash caused by mouse being unable to find instance of highlighted object (rare)
  • Lightning and demolish now show actual damage dealt, instead of “1”
  • Fixed graphical issue where lightning would turn buildings/enemies red and they wouldn’t turn back to their normal colour
  • Score screen now says ‘DEFEAT’ when you’re defeated, instead of ‘VICTORY’
  • Fixed adjacent land not registering as land (when you connect to islands - fixed this multiple times now, as it’s had multiple causes. - Let me know if you do have this happen again, and please send me the save file if you do!)
  • You should no longer be able to click too fast and have the options from multiple menus visible at the same time in the start screen
  • When you lose/destroy your shrine after continuing your run, you will no longer go to the defeat screen (the game just quits to menu currently, I will add another end screen in though)
  • Expansion prayer said 40 buildings on A5 but tracked for 30 (now tracks for 40)
  • Balor should no longer spawn on the shrine (rare, but game-breaking so…)
  • Fixed Chinese language crash when loading game
  • Fixed Chinese language crash on start screen when using gamepad
  • Fixed soft-lock in tutorial when entering harvest screen on the same turn as killing an enemy
  • Fixed stonemason using incorrect range when placed
  • Fixed bug with continuing game and cards being stuck on screen
  • Fixed endless loop of villagers screaming when you place a Wonder
  • Fixed bug where windowed version would force itself to the middle of your first monitor
  • fix for the random lag you sometimes get on a unit (would freeze for 10 seconds and then not attack)
  • fixed a crash caused by attackAllSides object


Quality of Life

  • Enemy warning messages now flash, so they are harder to miss!
  • Enemies should now prioritise their attacks in the following order:
    1. Units
    2. Towers
    3. Buildings
    4. Trees/rocks

  • It should no longer show negative resource totals
  • The bleed animation now cuts of at 6 (you can still stack 999999999 bleed or whatever, but it won’t show 999999999 bleed icons anymore)
  • Enemies should no longer spawn in single-tile pools within your main land - please let me know if it happens and send me the save if it does!
  • Added feature: if you hold the mouse over a building it will show the health of all buildings



Balance

  • Removed ‘Decay’ cursed card (will replace with some more imaginative, but less run-destroying, cursed cards later!)
  • Community prayer only had 8 turns to complete on A5 - increased that!
  • update for card weighting to make harvest
