Launch week is officially over -- I'd like to thank everyone who has been giving feedback on the discussion forums and in discord. The engagement has been SO ENCOURAGING! It has concretized into some changes that will hopefully amplify the player experience

Going forward, more changes are coming. As always extremely grateful for your interest, gentle player, here it is:

UI


  • added a menu for reading about and selecting a prestige class. They will become available as your character meets the requirements for them. Look for the big PLUS button at the top of the powers screen -- it will start flashing when you have at least 1 available
  • added a series of icons to the character creation screen that you can mouse over to read about your specific prayers and your equipped items
  • you can now mouse over enemies on the battlefield after death, if you close the death message popup, and see their individual attributes
  • added VI movement keys (in lieu of a key rebinding system, which is an eventual goal) upon the request of a player -- Log hotkey changed to "g"
  • added the Enter button next to the numpad
  • added a small delay to the Glory Up screen's hotkeys turning on, to prevent accidentally levelling an attribute


Options


  • added "less animations" -- the game removes animations from the action queue if they would play on an empty tile, speeding up big AOE encounters. It also x5's the speed of screen transitions
  • added "show range" -- creates a highlight of red tiles when mousing over a unit to show how far their attack can reach


Powers


  • added Master Doom -- become immune to Doom damage, apply Doom to yourself when units die, deal retaliatory Death damage to adjacent attackers based on your Doom stacks
  • added Master Bleed == become immune to Bleed damage, apply Bleed to yourself when you attack, deal Blood damage to enemies that damage you based on your Bleed stacks
  • Barbarism reduced in power a little bit, for the time being :)


Prestige Classes


  • added Stormbringer, creates a huge AOE of lightning and ice damage every turn, applies Freeze with lightning damage, receives Charge equal to the freeze stacks of killed enemies
  • added Oozemancer, continuously summons Oozes, summons an Ooze whenever an Ooze scores a kill, gains armor from total Oozes, Oozes inherit the player's Hit


Misc


  • Poise now only loses 50% of stacks when taking a step
  • when applying a new transformation, if you are already transformed, the existing transformation's stacks will be added into the new transformation
  • added an achievement for dealing an instance of 1 million+ damage


Bugs


  • the correct Cycle should now display properly after winning, and it shouldn't automatically raise you to the highest possible cycle unless you were already playing at your highest
  • fixed some bugs with selecting your next land in the continent screen
  • meditate now works properly
  • Sahasi damage bonus now works properly
  • mobile summons should now know how to swap with and walk past immobile summons
