In this update we’ve added braking, made it easier to invite your friends into a game and made a host of other tweaks and additions.

Here are the changes:

• Brakes: Now you can use the Down Arrow key to slow down your car - perfect for lining up Shoves and Shockwaves or dodging certain attacks. You may find other creative uses for it too!
  
• Invites: We’ve made it easier to invite your friends into a hosted game. Click the new Invite Friends button from the Host a Game lobby, or invite people directly from your friends list in Steam. Your friends list will also now show what screen or race you or your friends are in.
  
• Abilities: Shoves have increased range - bam! Missile and Saw speeds have been updated and targeting for Swaps has been refined so you won't swap with cars beside you and only slightly ahead of you. You’ll also no longer get affected by Missiles, Saws or EMPs when you’re respawning.
  
• Effects: We’ve added effects to the Shield when it successfully blocks an attack, as well as unique explosions for Missiles and Mines when they expire and self-explode.
  
• Cameras: The cameras used in races are now dynamic and move throughout a race to help with visibility and letting you know when a junction is coming up.
  
• Hazards: It was a bit hard to spot mud hazards on some of the tracks, so we’ve increased the contrast of them.
  
• Armour: We’ve improved the way armour deforms with the monster’s movement.
  
• Match points: The amount of points you receive for a race has been increased to a maximum of 100 points for first place.
  
• Many other minor updates and fixes.
