First of all...
It's the 1 year anniversary of Cat Cafe Manager, and what a year!
When we started Roost Games at the start of 2020, I had no idea that 3 years later our first self-developed game would be so supported by a community of terrific cat lovers! And I, and the rest of Roost Games, feel so incredibly thankful for that!!
So, like Mateo said above, THANK YOU for playing Cat Cafe Manager!
We released a mini update today, which...
- Adds some fresh 🎉 anniversary flair to the main menu
- Fixes a rare issue where the Premium Cat Lure wouldn't be in the shop after unlocking it
... but something much bigger is coming!
The next major update releases April 27!
The Naptime Update will introduce a bunch of new stuff, like...
- New Cat Need: 💤Sleep. Finally, you can buy your cats a cardboard box to sleep in.
- New High-Level Furniture Set: ⛩️Eastern Teahouse. Build a new kind of dazzling cat cafe.
- New Quality of Life feature: 📦Ingredient Delivery. Out of ingredients? Just have them delivered!
- And more!

I do have one more bittersweet thing to announce:
The Naptime Update will be the final major update for Cat Cafe Manager.
To be clear, this won't mean we'll stop fixing bugs and issues that come up!
It's just that, while developing new content for Cat Cafe Manager over the past year, we've also started prototyping and developing really exciting new games to work on beyond CCM, and we're now at a point in development that we've gotta focus our small team's attention on them full-time.
I can't yet talk about these new games, but I can guarantee we'll keep doing what we do best: make wholesome & interesting management games! We'll post on the Roost Games discord and twitter once we can show stuff off!
