Iron Mandate v0.6.3 is here. I'm still mostly trying to ensure that the game is decently balanced and runs without any issues. Once that is done I'll contemplate bigger feature work. Thank you to everyone who have made suggestions on that last point, there are definitely some keepers there.

Changes:


- Versus is available again: Play against players locally or through Steam's Remote Play Together (open the steam overlay to invite friends)

- Mid air control: Mid air control is stronger now to be able to more easily maneuver and avoid deadly falls.

- New upgrade: A mid air control upgrade that almost allows you to hover.

- Keyboard issues: Keyboard used to take a few milliseconds to stop turning after the end of a key press. Now it's instantaneous.

- Out of bound enemies: Enemies can no longer get lost out of bound on some of the later levels

- Introduced windowed mode and handled different resolutions better

- Fixed extra segment strength for the first arsenal

- Fixes with the Juggernaut icons not appearing properly when they go off screen

- A bunch of other small fixes not worth mentionning

Future updates:


Not too much is set in stone but one thing is for sure: I will be improving the musical selection soon. I like the saxophone kicking in during the Knight fight but it might not be to everyone's preference.

I said I would look at keyboard key mapping but I didn't for this update. I still want to have a think about it. I think the "A/D + UIOP" control works ok but it is inconvenient when picking your upgrade so I'll try to figure how to improve that.
