Update 1.17 - Spring cleaning has arrived. In this round of update notes, we talk about multiple quality-of-life improvements and fixes covering multiple aspects of the game such as breeding, training and overall progression

Max Training

We heard you loud and clear and we are excited to share that you can now train your stats multiple times as well as purchase all necessary items in one place.

To take advantage of this awesome feature, starting at Prestige 10 simply head over to the Training Facilities, adjust your training levels using the arrows, and hit the "Train" button when you're ready to roll! Your horse will be raring to go in no time, and you'll be well on your way to becoming a true champion!

Prestige roadmap

The Prestige screen has been through a visual overhaul. Originally the Prestige screen only displayed your current Prestige, Prestige points, and how many points were needed until the next Prestige level. Now players will see a scrolling menu — this menu still shows all the same details as before but now you can see the up-and-coming rewards including features you will gain access to once you reach the next Prestige level.

New Breeding Screen

Say goodbye to the hassle of checking horse details when breeding, because we've just launched a brand-new breeding screen! Not only is it more compact, but it's also packed with all the essential info you'll need for successful breeding. From stats to hidden genes, and possible outcomes - everything is described in a simple and easy-to-understand way. So, let's get breeding and have some fun

Sell The Foal

We've just added a "Sell Foal" button to the foal stall screen, which means you can now quickly and easily sell your foals without any hassle. No more navigating through multiple screens or menus - simply click the button and you're done!

More Stalls

We've expanded the stall capacity in the game, which means you can now purchase two more horse stalls and have a total of 10 additional stalls at your disposal! This exciting update is available for players who have achieved Prestige 15 to 20. Now you can expand your horse collection, and take on more horses than ever before.

Steam Deck Compatibility

Rival Stars Horse Racing is now fully compatible with the Steam Deck! That means you can now enjoy the ultimate horse racing experience on this brand-new platform. Take your gaming on the go, and enjoy the excitement of breeding, training, racing and riding your horses - all in the palm of your hand!

Free Roam

Going forward, your horse will stop running automatically when you release the slowdown key and come to a complete stop. So, take a break, enjoy the scenery and let your trusty steed take a breather - without having to worry about manually stopping your horse.

Looking Foward

We are thrilled to announce that we are continuing to actively work on, expand and improve Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition. With 1.17 already with us, we wanted to share a sneak peek at what is coming up in Quarter 2 of 2023.



Although we are unable to disclose specific details at this time, feel free to speculate and have fun discussing what kind of new updates could be coming.
