Swords never die.
(... seriously I fact checked it)

After years left forgotten a major update is out now for dear old Sword Game, bringing several changes the most prominent of which is keyboard controls; an indirectly massively requested feature by people who didn't read the store page and thought the game didn't work. Well my gamepad-less friends: now it does!

Patch notes:
  • Keyboard controls for player 1 can now be enabled under options. Keyboard controls are also supported in menus.
  • The ESC key can now be used to pause and unpause regardless of whether keyboard controls are enabled.
  • Parries have been made slighly faster.
  • All parries can now be canceled immediately after succesfully parrying an attack.
  • Attacks and parries are now become slower the larger your sword gets.
  • You will now fall through thin platforms without landing on them when you hold the thumbstick down.
  • You can also now pass through a thin platform by pressing the jump button while crouched on it, in addition to the old method of quickly flicking the thumbstick downward.
  • The default duration of ’Time’ games has been changed to 2 minutes.
  • You can now see how many controllers are connected in Versus or Survival.
  • Fixed a bug where a certain trophy could not be earned...
  • Other bug fixes.

PS. Did you ever find the secret mode? Here's a hint:
