I'm just about to head out to the station to travel to EGX. We missed out on booking a slot at the HTC Vive booth, but let's see what happens!

EGX is over for the day, so it's time to wind down with a meal and prepare our bodies for the Vive demo tomorrow. To close out the day, here's a photo of Glenn and his new friend...

About to go in for our Vive demo!

Vive demo was incredible! Absolutely mesmerising immersion. We played several demos including the Dota 2 secret shop and Aperture Science. The experience of being in the Dota demo is amazing, being able to interact with the shopkeeper, pick up a light, move around and interact with dota creatures and items, while teleporting yourself onto a micro scale in that world. Unforgettable.

Had a quick hello with Shen at HTC, thanked him for his time. We've now been kicked out but made our way over to GNifinity CSGO tournament. And look, Tobi is here too!

Necrophos is trying his hands at being an Engineer after another busy day at EGX 2015! Time to relax and get ready for tomorrow.

Nick is quite right, it's been a busy day with our demo of the Vive & CS:GO, but not one I'm going to forget in a while. We'll be doing a lot of comments, pictures and videos from our Vive experience to tell you why this is the future and why you need one in your life.

But for now, I'm tired and my time with EGX this year is over. I'll hand you back over to the capable hands of Nick for Sunday, the final day of EGX.

I need to sleep, thankfully Naga Siren was on hand to assist. Adieu for now!

It's time for the final day of EGX 2015. Glenn maybe gone, but there's still plenty to see!

While I wait to head in, here's a neat shot of Glenn playing with Tiltbrush at the Vive booth yesterday.

Here's something we didn't cover yesterday - Lego Dimensions has some fun Portal-themed content, letting you play as Chell, run around Aperture, and fight GLaDOS. What little we played of the Aperture level didn't really have too much content specific to Portal outside of the visual design, but it was definitely enjoyable once you get used to Lego Dimensions' rather weird and unconventional gameplay mechanics.

Rainbow Six: Siege takes clear inspiration from the tactical combat and competitive structure of Counter-Strike. Let's see how it holds up!

Rainbow Six: Siege isn't quite as tight to control or play as CS, but it does offer plenty of tactical planning, team work, and replayability. 5v5 keeps things controlled, and tension is maintained as teams slowly get picked apart. Traps and controllable items also help separate RS:S from CS and prevent it being unfairly labelled or viewed as a copycat.

That wraps up the final day of EGX 2015! We had a bunch of extra things we wanted to discuss today, but poor timings and WiFi were against us. We'll be recapping our trip to EGX and our Vive experiences in a video coming in the next week or two, so stay tuned!
