Release Build Info
This build of SUW (Super Urban Wizard) was made possible thanks to my compatriots on the shoestring dev team. This includes the play testers. Thank you for your hardwork. That said we all anticipate a few issues related to difficulty moving forward.
-This is a very challenging and frantic game by design. We put a lot of work into mitigating the learning curve and balancing out the weapons and how to use them. Even going as far as to expand the growth mechanics. We are open to tweaking the difficulty based on YOUR feedback.
All DemonSword games, even ones not directly developed by the inhouse staff have a minimal1 year active period. This means the devs and publicist will be open to critique and posting regular updates during a minimal period of 1 year. All critique, input and other forms of community interaction are welcomed and incouraged.
Secret message contest: upon completing the main game, the mission select window will display a secret code. They first person to decipher it will be entered into an electronic draw to win a Logitech G13 gaming board and other prizes including steam giftcards.
DSG is hosting this contest directly and neither logitech or VALVe/Steam are involved. To enter, decipher the code and post it in the contest thread linked here:
The Rules are simple. be the first to beat Super Urban Wizard and uncover the hidden message. If you can decipher it, and are the first to do so, you WIN.
Once you decipher the message, post it as a comment to this thread.
Prizes will be awarded approx January 2020 - assuming someone cracks the code.

Many of you are familiar with ‘tyrfing cycle’ Which is DemonSwordGames’ first entry onto steam. It went through development hell and then a state of limbo due to publishing disagreements. The result was a recently settled agreement with the former publisher;
Having learned from the mistakes of the past, we decided to push ahead with this game but are making key changes.
More details will be posted in the future, but these changes include:
- a more deep and robust combat system
- substantially larger environments
- NPC interactions that advance the story
-drastically improved visual and audio quality
To achieve these goals, we will work as long as it takes. This means that i will be posting no confirmed launch date (yet). To fund this project DSG is releasing older (smaller) games at a maximum rate of 2 annually. I will also be investing personal income into the future of this project.
Our goal is to produce an awesome indie title, we apologize for the delays
We do have a surprise for our kickstarter backers in the 2020 to hopefully tie them over.
Super Spring Ninja remake:
This game only made it to early access as there were bugs in the physics engine. Patches were halted during a settlement process and unfortunately, like Tyrfing, many resources were lost and thus must be rebuilt.
I will be offering a bundle of the old build of super spring ninja with super urban wizard. The rebuild of Super Spring Ninja will be added to the old game as a separate file. Meaning all of you who purchase super spring ninja will get the rebuild at no additional cost.
Little Red Kunoichi :
Will be our first game launched in 2020. It is a basic platformer with a stealth hack and slash mechanic at its core. This game will retail for $1.50 US. All proceeds go toward future games including ‘Tyrfing’ this game will be offered in bundles 3 months after it releases.
