One of the placeholder mechanics in the game that was not yet available, was being able to convert your skilling materials into fragments which you could convert into lumber, metal or fibers for building materials!
As of today you will find the deposit box in-game!
This box can be found at the current skilling hubs for woodcutting, mining and fishing.
The box will be closed on approach. As you get closer you'll notice a red radius around it.
Entering the circle will turn it green, and the box will open.
To convert your materials (ore, logs, fish at this time), simply drop the items by right clicking it from your inventory inside the circle. Remember that you can also drop a full stack by holding shift!
After a short delay, the item inside the circle will be converted to the appropriate fragments.
Please note that you can now get fish bits from converting fish, but they don't serve a purpose yet.
Additionally, I will also look to adding the berries/fruits from farming to the conversion table, so you can get extra fiber.
Hopefully this update will make building your island quite a bit easier!
