I am having trouble getting package info using known sub ids. I can get the information for some packages as it's exposed via the Big Picture / storefront API, however I can't get the data for other packages like packages tied to bundle sites (where one key redeems many apps).
I know in the FAQ for this site it says that they/you use SteamKit2 and it also mentions Steam's console commands. I tried the console command for package_info_print and it wouldn't show me any results, not even for packages that I can see via the storefront API.
If I take the time to implement SteamKit2 into my project should SteamApps.GetPackageInfo() suceed where the console commands failed?
Thank you for your time.
Well I went ahead and implemented some of the code and figured it out, to answer my own question it does appear that querying package data through SteamKit2 will expose data on packages not exposed through the consoles package_info_print command (which didn't work on any of the packages I tried).
