When I check my steam account page I am getting random accounts shown in place of mine. I think many others have this issue. Any ideas why?
Looks like valve have enabled some kind of aggressive caching on their servers which is causing these responses to be cached (when they wouldn't normally be).
Normal service may resume soon...
Makes sense, every link gets a different profile.
maybe a ddos
I wonder if checking steam accounts makes them vulnerable, doesn't the calculator here triggers a similar effect?
Using calculator won't trigger this issue.
Well this little bug has allowed me to see pretty much every personal detail linked to people's accounts including email, friends, wishlist, purchase history, credit card details (real name, full address, mobile number etc...). Also looking at the purchase history of some peoples accounts I noticed that £100 had been added to many of these bugged accounts today. So this is not just limited to viewing account details.
