Can you over steam api gather and display, which space spent game on hard drive?
You may be able to determine the final size by looking at the public depots, take for example Garry's Mod and METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN. As you can see, this would be hard to determine automatically as there's no consistency to how it should be structured.
It is suitable. I mean, how I automatically count space all games in my library? For distro backup purposes, for example.
It is possible to count the space your games take, just not through the Steam API.
In Windows you can type the command ls -r | measure -s Length in powershell in the steamapps folder and it would give you how many bytes your games take. (convert to GB by dividing by 1024^3)
ls -r | measure -s Length
In Linux you can use the command du -csh in your steamapps folder.
But how I can count all games, if there are no space for all?
You can select all the games you would like to install and click "Install" on the right-click menu to check how much space is required. You may have to opt-in to Steam's Beta Client.
