When I access the site I get a warning pop up in the lower right corner telling me that I'm not signed into the steam store so highlighting won't work. However I am logged in (confirmed by clicking on the warning) and highlighting does work as normal. I'm running Chrome 44, anything I can do to help, just let me know.
Nothing too major but thought you should know :) Not sure if this is the best avenue for bug reports either.
That warning is shown by our extension, and it's most likely shown due to browser caching.
I've had this bug once but it resolved itself after reloading the page.
I've reloaded the page and cleared all cookies but it still persists for me
Perhaps you can open dev tools (F12) and find https://store.steampowered.com/dynamicstore/userdata/ request and see what the response is? And try visiting that url yourself and see if it loads any data.
Where in Dev tools would I find the request? The only thing I can see is that there is an error on the console tab:
GET https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
Click on Network tab, and then reload the page (go to our sales page first). Then right click and click Save as HAR with content and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org (don't pastebin it, as it may contain private information).

Are you actually logged in on http://store.steampowered.com/ ? It doesn't appear so.
Ah I hadn't logged in since I flushed my cookies. Although I was still getting correct highlighting on owned games. I've taken a new dump and copy of the JSON and emailed it to you.
Your owned games also get highlighted by the site itself if you're logged in here and your profile is public.
Looking at your dump, you're getting an empty reply from Steam store, there's not really much I can do to help you here.
OK that explains the highlighting. Hmm interesting. I'll try fiddling with my add ons and get back to you if I get anywhere.
