So I was browsing one of my friend's profiles today, and caught a glimpse of this:
So Steam apparently thinks this site is phishing, even though it's probably the least harmful site out there? It's now blocked form all profiles, and [url=steamdb.info][/url] style BBCode is also replaced with the same message (the picture is one such example). Did Valve decide that a site like this is obvious phishing recently?
IIRC, it depends on who is posting the link. Some groups (community ) and people can post them fine, others can get caught in spamfilter.
I suppose that would make sense, but the person whose profile it's on is fairly reputable; not once have I seen them sending out spam, etc. Funny thing is, it also blocked it for me, a 3 going on 4 year Steam user who's never been hacked IIRC.
I think Steam is borken right now, lol: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamdb
Since when is it not broken? :p
Dang, that sucks, even though I don't have any links to the site in my profile.
I hope it's just a bug and not something they've decided.
