For example, for Murdered: Soul Suspect and Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris, SteamDB says that the two games are "run locked" in South East Asia.
However, on the Steam store pages for these two games, there is absolutely no such warning. Others games that are run locked such as Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition have a clear warning in an orange textbox on the storepage, but for these two there is no warning at all either on the store page, or on the checkout pages.
As such, I am curious to know, is SteamDB making an error here, or are Steam/SquareEnix at fault?
There are packages for different regions, you are probably looking at the SE Asia packages for said games.
Yes, obviously I am looking at those packages cause I am from South East Asia (Malaysia).
We get the restrictions listed on the package pages from Steam directly, I'm not sure how/when Valve/publishers decide to put notices on store pages. You'll have to ask them about it.
