I came across an old thread about using the SteamDB backend to make a local version of the database (thread here: https://steamdb.info/forum/98/), but I'm super new to this kind of thing. I downloaded the zipped master from Github, but I have no idea what to do now. How can I run the backend to download my own database? Thanks in advance.
It's mostly only for people who know what they're getting into, but you can start off by downloading Visual Studio and then trying to compile the whole thing.
Okay, well, I can look into that, but yeah, this sounds like it's way beyond me. I was mainly just looking for a way to locally back up the individual app pages and the information on all of them.
