Hello all, this is my first thread here.
I'm considering getting Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Steam, but I noticed my region has a specific subID for it - "SA" (South America). As a matter of fact, it seems few people in the world would be able to purchase a truly "ROW" version at this point, since most regions have specific subIDs as well.
Currently, there's no "onlyallowrunincountries" parameter for it (only for the RU subID, I believe), so my question is this: If I buy and activate the game now, and Valve and/or Activision adds the parameter later, will the game be rendered unplayable outside South America, or will my copy remain completely region-free, considering the time of purchase?
I appreciate any help.
SA is Saudi Arabia.

If they add "onlyallowrunincountries" later, it will only work in said countries. It doesn't matter when you purchase it.
I see. That's unfortunate. Gotta wait for another GameFly discount then. Thanks anyway.
