The Steam profile system has a hidden input named ingameAppID, this holds the AppID of the thing the user is currently playing and will even show the AppID of hidden apps that don't show on the profile normally (like when Valve employees are seen testing hidden apps).
It would be great if the SteamDB plugin harnessed this information and displayed it on the user's profile so that if the app is hidden, the App's information can still be accessed.
EDIT: No worries, made it myself. Here's the link if you want to check it out: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/steam-app-info-button/negdbdifgcgangcgdalaigfoobdkfnde
I feel like adding a feature like this would make Valve fix it faster.
