have downloaded the .zip -file of SteamOS (Alchemist) and downloaded too the installer-file for to generate the .iso-file out of both.
First I unzipped the Alchemist-file, then I unzipped the installer-file in same directory (with name: steamos).
Then I generated with genisofs out of steamos-files the *.iso-files - is this correct this way ?! or something wrong ?!
First then I wanted to test this *.iso-distro then in virtualbox (enabled efi and network and usb-mouse, along with 128 MB for graphics and
3-D-acceleration is enabled too in virtualbox - newest version).
Somehow at process of installation of virtual-machine with this *.iso, it turns out that there cannot created a connection to mirror-server or
to network of Debian - for updates and bugfixes (and apt-get update later did not work too). The installation/activation of network is broken ?
I tried both - automatic installation and expert modus - at point of network both fail.
Is this now fixed ? Where can I download newer *.zip file of SteamOS (than the download of 14th December via http://golem.de).
